HOTEL POLICIES

Thank you for choosing to stay with us at The Monroe Palm Springs. Below are hotel policies and procedures; read them carefully. As our hotel guests, by reading and signing your hotel registration card at check-in, you agree to abide by our hotel policies and procedures.

ID REQUIREMENT
For security purposes, valid photo identification is required at check-in. Acceptable forms include a driver’s license, passport, and/or proof of age card. Guests must be 18 years or older to reserve a room. Guests must present a photo ID at check in.

ROOM & RATES

All rates and room types include access to all property amenities.
Check In: 3:00 PM
Check Out: 11:00 AM
The Hotel room rental period starts at 3:00pm day of and ends 11:00 am the following day.
Any guests check in any time after 3:00pm and within that period is subject to one night room rental.
Front desk closed by 12 all guest must checked in by than.

Extra Bedding Policy/Extra Guest
The hotel charges $10 for additional guest not registered with the hotel and exceeding standard occupancy. The hotel must follow all safety rules in regards to occupied rooms.

Specific Room Request
Specific room request are considered, but cannot be guaranteed based on hotel occupancy. Please contact the hotel directly for more information. All Requests will be noted in the guest reservation; but cannot be guaranteed.
Facility Fees
The amount of $14.00 facility fee will be applied to the room rate each day. This Fee is subject to all taxes.
Early Check-In Policy
Please Contact hotel to request an early check in, CANNOT BE GUARANTEED. It’s based on hotel occupancy.
Late Check-out Policy
Late checkouts after 12:30 pm are charged a $50 fee, plus tax. Full price after 3pm. Subject to availability. Please contact the hotel directly for more information.
Cancellation Policy
We have a 48 hour free cancelation prior to arrival date. Late cancellation and no shows are subject to a penalty of the first night’s room and tax deposit. Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card at time of reservation. The first night’s room and tax will be charged to the guest’s credit card at time of booking. Reductions in the length of stay are subject to the full value of the reservation (including taxes).
Special Event /Cancellation Policy
This deposit is nonrefundable. Reservations over high demand dates cannot be canceled and the full value of the reservation (including taxes) is due in the event of no-show. Changes to existing reservations are only permitted up until 14 days prior to arrival and are subject to a $25.00 administration fee.
Credit/Debit Card Policy
Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount of your stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out, at which time the amount actually incurred during the stay will be charged. On a debit card the authorization is cleared by the bank 4-5 business days after you check out.
Cash Payment Policy
Cash can be paid upon departure for all charges.  A valid credit card with a matching ID must be presented at check-in and authorized for the full amount to receive room keys.
Noise/Disturbance Policy
The hotel reserves the right to charge a noise disturbance fee if compensation is given to other guests due to noise. Further should the guest continue to disturb other guests, or become unruly guests, guests that are under the influence of a substance that may be causing a disruption of others enjoyment of the hotel or may be harmful to others; the hotel reserves the right to have the guests vacated from the hotel premises without refund.
Package Handling Policy
The hotel is not responsible for any packages mailed to the guest .We ensure that all packages received are issued to the guest reserved in the hotel. Upon receiving any packages hotel staff is required to signature receiving on behalf of a guest and issuing to a guest requires signature.

The hotel does not store packages for non-guest. Packages are stored for arriving guest and departing guest based on circumstance. The hotel does not hold packages more than 1 week for a guest. If this does occur the guest can charge a daily storage fee of $5.00.

PET POLICY

Pets are allowed in pet friendly rooms only. There is a non-refundable pet fee of $50.00 on the first day of check -in. fee of $50.00 applied per pet, Guest must sign a pet agreement acknowledging responsibility for physical or noise damage. Pets must be crated if left alone in the guest room. There are no charges for service animals. Pets must be leashed at all times and are not allowed in the pool area. Guests are required to pick up after their pets. (Dogs only)

SMOKING POLICY

All guest rooms and public spaces are 100% smoke-free. A $250 deep cleaning fee will be charged to any guest who violates the smoking policy. Smoking should be in designated smoking areas only. Smoking is not permitted in the entry way of any door or guest room. All doors must be kept closed.

SPA TREATMENTS & PACKAGES

In the event that you have booked a Spa Treatment or Spa Package and need to cancel your Spa Booking, please do so at least 24 hours prior to your arrival date. Failure to cancel Spa Treatments and Packages at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time will result in a $50 cancellation fee. In the event that you book a Spa Treatment or Spa Package and you do not show for your appointment and you have not cancelled your appointment/reservation, you will be subject to a NO SHOW penalty in the amount of 50% of the total cost of the Spa Treatment or Spa Package.
